Ruth Chen joined Embassy Row in January 2013 as Senior Vice President of Business Affairs and Operations. As part of the company’s executive committee, Chen oversees Embassy Row’s business affairs, and is an integral part in the company’s business development efforts. She also oversees Embassy Row’s west coast office.

Prior to joining Embassy Row, Chen spent nearly nine years as a senior business affairs executive in the television department at William Morris Endeavor, where she negotiated all facets of talent, writer, producer, director, production services, books and format deals across both unscripted and scripted television. She first worked with Michael Davies and the other members of Embassy Row at Endeavor agency almost eight years ago, which continued through the agency’s merger with William Morris Agency to form WME, where Michael and Embassy Row continue to be clients.

Chen is a huge Laker fan and an avid tennis fan and yoga enthusiast. She received her J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law and her B.A. from University of California, Irvine. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband Alec and her son Maxwell.
